Joyce Kilmer

This last weekend we took the kids over to Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest for an outing. We had only been to the park in the Fall when the leaves had already fallen and it was cooler. This time of year it was humid and the trails were overgrown, but the trees were beautiful. The trail is a 2 mile loop and an easy hike with kids. Ever Joy had no problem by herself. We had to use M&M's as incentive for Sawyer who ended up walking barefoot most of the time. Zoe took a nap. The kids enjoyed running ahead and hiding behind the trees, some of which are 20 feet in circumference, 100 feet tall and 450 years old. Amazing place!
