Thankful For The Moments

This evening my family enjoyed homemade pizza night and then cuddled up on the couch to watch a movie. Zoe didn't make it to much past the previews before she wiggled her way off the couch and needed to be put to bed. But Ever and Sawyer made it through the whole movie. As I sat watching my kids be mesmerized by moving pictures, I felt such thankfulness for these small moments in life that make wonderful memories. I'm thankful to just sit peacefully and enjoy that my little boy still wants to sit in my lap and let me stroke his hair. Today I am thankful for contentment.
