Brasstown Bald

Yesterday, our family went to check out Brasstown Bald down in Georgia.  It is the highest peak in Georgia at 4,784 feet above sea level.  It was a gorgeous day for a little hike and is now cool enough outside to really enjoy the weather.  From Murphy, NC it is about a 45 minute to an hour drive to get there.  The hike is only a little over a half mile from the parking lot to the lookout building, and it's paved, and there are benches, and you can do it with three small children...

And a dog.  Note:  It cost $4 to park.
