Recently, I received the bracelet that says "serve" from a friend of mine. Well, from a gal that I think I would be really good friends with if we ever got the chance to hang out :) Anyways, she got the bracelet from mudlove.com, where "every $5 spent gives an African clean drinking water for a year!" You should go to their site and check out their story, it's inspirational. The site offers several different products that include t-shirts and necklaces.
So in a "pay it forward" sort of way. I would like to send one of you a free mudlove band. All you have to do is leave a comment saying what you would like your band to say and why (11 character limit). FAITH, JOY, GRACE, LOVE, BLESSED, AFRICA. Next Saturday I will randomly draw a winner and send you a band. *I can mail overseas too...

I LOVE that yours says, "serve." I was just telling my husband (a natural servant) that I want to be a more cheerful servant. But I think I would choose "be still" for a bracelet. I need to be reminded to "be still and know that I am God" and to "stand still and see the salvation of the Lord." I get way to anxious about things I cannot control.
Wow, Kate, that's beautiful! (I have a friend who does ministry for clean water in Africa -- Water282.org -- and this reminded me of him.) Anyway, what a fantastic and generous idea; I would like mine to say "PEACE" (my daily reminder to trust in God's perfect peace).
Aw...YAY!!! So glad it made it and you like it, and I think we would be great friends!! I don't mind saying we already are :)
P.S. Not entering my name because I have a couple myself :) But wanted to say what a wonderful idea!
I LOVE MudLove bracelets!! And I have to know where you got the other bracelet in this photo!!
Angie, first I want to say I checked out your blog and am excited to hear about your adoption adventure. (We adopted two boys this past winter). It's a crazy ride, but The Lord is faithful! It's about time I have another Mud Love giveaway. I want to order one of their mugs. The leather bracelet I'm wearing in the picture, my husband made. Thanks for your comment and I look forward to checking back with ya'll to hear how things are going.
I would love a MUD love bracelet too!
Mine would need to say "Believe" because I need to believe in myself.
I just found your blog and I love it!
Thanks for stopping by! I will keep you posted about another mudlove giveaway soon...
