Catching Up

I'm finally trying to play catch up after the Holidays and getting back into routine. We had a wonderful Christmas with family. We even experienced a white Christmas. We don't get much snow here in western North Carolina so it was a treat.
As we were all preparing for school to start up again we got another snow storm. We went to bed without a flake and woke up to a good 10" of snow. This time we were prepared with a sled. I heard they sold out an hour after I bought ours. We have been spending our days sledding, making snow angels and building an igloo.
Pav did most of the work on the igloo. It kept him busy while he couldn't get to work. I would say it stands a little taller than Pav at the peak and there is plenty of room for the kids to play inside.

Yesterday, Pav spent two hours digging our van out of the snow. We have to park it up by the main road and hike out if we want to go somewhere. This week it feels like an adventure, but I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon.

That's amazing! I'm jealous; Florida's the only state in the country (including Hawaii) without snow on the ground. That igloo is definitely the coolest thing I have seen this week. Heck, I'D even love to play in it! :)

That is so awesome! When you said "igloo" I didn't expect anything that elaborate! That is amazing! I hope it is still there when we arrive.
