My big thrift store find this weekend was an entire set of 15 dot dominoes for a buck fifty. I thought dominoes would be a great game to teach the younger kids pattern recognition, counting, waiting your turn...scratch all that learning stuff...Pav showed the kids a domino spiral and the fun began.
At first their domino lineup's were on the table, then the ground, then...
they watched some videos of dominoes tumbling on youtube, and the ideas were endless. Now I've got to get my hands on more dominoes, we don't have enough to get down the hallway.
