Ridin'

This week was back to school after the kids had some days off for spring break.  During that time the weather was gorgeous and we were able to spend our time outdoors.  With his three older siblings riding their bikes around our property, Sawyer decided it was time for him to learn also.
So far Sawyer has been my most cautious child.  He likes to know that he will succeed before he tries.  Failure is not an option.  Which can be a great quality, but it can also mean that he won't try new things.
Bike riding...
Last summer he wouldn't touch it.  Not even with training wheels.  It looked hard.  He might get hurt.  He stuck to his tricycle.
This week he made a decision to ride and he did.
He just took off.  Sheer determination.  He fell and he was mad, but he got back up.
I'm very proud of him.
 Four down, one to go...
