Last week we got a pile of top soil delivered. For two days the kids got to take advantage of the pile before it got spread in the yard and grass seed planted. They had a blast! For the time it kept them busy- it was well worth the clean up, and man did they get dirty!
A week later Sawyer's "dirt mountain" is gone and we have grass growing in the yard. I am looking forward to next spring when the kids can play in the yard.
Besides landscaping our family celebrated my 32nd birthday this past weekend. My brother Dave and his family came over to Murphy for the weekend and we went to the Fall Festival at the John C. Campbell Folk School. Family, crafts, music and food...a great way to celebrate another year!
