Dragon Birthday Party

This weekend was Sawyer's 4th birthday.  He asked for a dragon birthday party.  I am usually in charge of birthday cakes around here, but this year Pav asked to make cake.  We found a great tutorial for a dragon cake here.  I can only take responsibility for baking the cake, Pav took over with frosting and finishing touches.  I think he did a better job than I would have.

  1. After church we had lunch with my parents and all headed to Fun World in Hiawassee, Georgia.  Sawyer had been asking if we could go there.  We spent the afternoon in their Foam World, playing video games and bouncing around on the different obstacle courses and bounce houses.

This is the log roll.  It wasn't easy!

Ever Joy asked if she could do some rock climbing.

Then she asked if I would do it with her...I made it to the top :)

After taking the two older kids to a movie we spent the evening at my folks house opening presents and eating cake.  It was a great day!  Sawyer got a some action figures from the movie "How to Train Your Dragon".   When I went to check on him before going to bed, he had fallen asleep with a dragon in each hand.

Dragon party idea is definitely a new one. There are so many venues in our city but LA venues located at the outskirts are extremely beautiful. Their charming scenic beauty of greenery and awesome ambience make them quite different from others. Planning to book one for my brother's reception next month.
