Owl Creek Projects
The last few weeks have kept us all busy around here. We have been working on our property, celebrating birthdays, taking classes, saying goodbyes, and enjoying the summer months. I thought I would share a couple of projects that my family has been involved with. First, are some pictures of a job Pav has been part of, making wood shakes for a roof.
I'm not sure what the count is on the shakes, but the stack was huge. They will be used on a Tumbleweed house that Barred Owl Builders are building this Fall. Pav is very excited about the project and looking forward to getting started. If you want to see more about how the shakes were made check out Barred Owl Builders blog.
This is a picture of some of the projects Ever Joy made during her week at the community college. She really enjoyed her time there. She took painting everyday, which was her favorite, and came home with some very colorful works of art. She did not like clogging at all... She took sewing and made a really cute little fabric postcard. She also took felting and made a...well, I'm not sure what to call it, but it is colorful and she enjoys explaining that it is sheep "fur".
