Last night Pav and I got the chance to see Rodrigo and Gabriela play live over in Knoxville, TN. It was amazing! Dave managed to get Pav and I student tickets ($5) to see them play at UT. Then on top of that his lovely wife, Laura, watched Zoe for us. My mom kept Ever Joy and Sawyer for the night.
Rodrigo and Gabriela sound great on cd, but seeing them live was incredible. Pav said he probably won't pick up his guitar for a few months, after having seen their talent. This is a clip we took with our camera, which doesn't do them justice. There are more clips available on You Tube or Facebook. If you have time check them out. Note: they are playing classical guitars, but they do not play classical music.
